Great place to hang out before a concert at Moda Center. The food menu is limited, but does come with vegetarian items and is not that bad. Pretty big drink menu ( beer, wine, cider and alcohol - no mixed drinks) and the service is freaking fast. The place is also very clean and you can order from the table via QR code. It is a bit loud, but a great place to hang out before an event at Moda. Cheers Dr. Jack and thanks for a great time!
Went to Dr. Jack's prior to Game 5 versus OKC. Their service is excellent. The atmosphere is awesome. We ordered the pepperoni flat bread which was great. Be ready to eat. We ordered and in less five minutes was served to our table. They have a great variety of draft beers and a long list of creative cocktails. Of course, several of them are Blazer themed. I would highly recommend Dr. Jack's and will certainly return there multiple times in the future.
Dr. Jack’s…named after the Portland Trailblazer infamous hall of Fame Coach Jack Ramsey. who guided the Blazers to our only Championship in 1977. To put a watering hole/pre game and during game bar and restaurant is brilliant at the South Gate of the Moda Center. And who better to salute…then the Blazers iconic Coach. We have always made Dr. Jacks our meeting spot for the Blazers season games. Food, drink, gathering and amping up for the game. They have modified there menu, due to Covid, they have taken all the proper measures to make it a safe, clean and casual locale. I enjoy the Porter, the flat bread and some Tv time with buddies. It’s pricey, but everything is pricey at Moda. You might as well gather and enjoy the food and endless options for drinks.
I had to give this place 5 stars. I've never been here, never been to America, in fact I've never left England. However, if you are one of those people who likes to go to other countries and irritate the locals, this is probably a very nice place to visit. Portland just sounds nice, and where better to go than Dr Jack's? They deserve a 5 star rating. So if you actually bother to read this review, please give it a like so I know you took the time to read. Then give these guys 5 stars. Share the positivity and promote good feeling. Life is too short for anything less than 5 stars. God bless America.
This place is the only place to go before events at the Moda Center or Memorial Coliseum. They have a great open air concept, with tables inside and outside. Live music, all ages are welcome. Food is pub style, drinks are bar drinks, prices are what I expected, high. The weather wasn’t great when we were down here, but we still had a fun time, enjoyed the music and people watching.
At The Who concert. Plenty of seating. Easy to order right from the QR code at your table. Food and drinks delivered to our table so fast, it was kind of unbelievable. Servers came by and even took away our empties 2x in 30 minutes. Really, what more could you ask for?!
Super friendly attentive staff. Good fast service and great appetizers and drinks! You must stop here prior to your next event at the Rose Quarter! Seating and stand up bar service available.
